A standalone model and live texture editor for RF Online. This is not an extension for any existing software the rendering engine and importer are part of the software. You do not need 3DS MAX to use this!
Supports the following file types
- .RFS Packaged groups of textures or meshes. These can easily be browsed without extracting using the RFS viewers.
- .MESH/.MSH The default 2.2.3.2 model formats for all meshes.
- .DDS Raw Direct Draw Textures. This is the file used in your image editor of choice.
- .RFT Texture format. This format is only found from extracted .RFS files.
note: Mesh08 support will be after release once enough research is done. This currently only effects v1.5 Defcon and newer AOP models.
Features
◉ Live Texture Editing
All assigned .DDS files are tracked for file updates. Saved texture changes will instantly update onto the mesh.
Drag and Drop UI
Most actions can be done with the Drag and Drop UI. Making using the toolkit quick and easy to use.
Always On Top
Right clicking the title bar you can enable “Always On Top”. This keeps the Toolkit above all other windows acting as a preview window whilst working in your photo editor of choice (photoshop/paint.net).
Extract and Preview Textures from .RFS Packages
Any texture loaded from an .RFS will be imported as a .RFT file (Kept only in memory). “Save .DDS” will extract and save this single texture to disk. Eliminating the need to extract entire .RFS packages to find textures. All textures can be previewed by hovering over them.
