Bellato engineers have discovered a way to use the power from their upgraded weapons and fuse it with Accretian power-cells harvested from flamethrowers. There have been some drivers spotted lugging these Mecha Damage Augmenters over their backs to over-charge the power of their MAUs. The actual info… After much testing we have learned that panzer gens and mau blessing only add damage from your base weapon. This means that if two drivers both had int 60 swords and panzer gens that they would both have the same damage added to their mau even if one of them had a dagnu set equipped. This also means that keens are useless for the panzer gen. To solve this we have decided to create a new upgrade path for drivers. There will be a new item combination recipe which will result in the damage of an intense 60 sword if it had keens. These will be weapons with no slots and custom damage values so that they apply to the mau. The recipe will be as follows…

20x Broken Panzer Generator
1x Intense 60 Flamethrower
1x Intense 60 +1/2/3/4/5/6 Sword

The outcome will be the Mecha Damage Augmenter which will have 6 tiers. Each tier will be a different weapon with damage matching the corresponding damage of an intense 60 sword with the corresponding keen upgrades. There will be a recipe to break down the augmenter so that you can attempt to upgrade further. The reverse recipe will be as follows…

1x Mecha Damage Augmenter
1x Broken Panzer Generator

It will give back the intense 60 sword with the corresponding number of keen upgrades. Lastly, to make sure that no one can abuse the weapon outside of the mau it will have a special effect removing all attack power making it completely useless for skills and attacks while on foot. Luckily since the panzer gens only look to the base weapon damage, it will be unaffected.

tl;dr: We’ve thought of a way to have upgrading be worth it for drivers. They can upgrade intense 60 swords with keens and combine them at hero for a no-slot fixed damage weapon that only works for the sake of the panzer gens. This way drivers have a reason to make upgraded weapons and a way to increase the quality of their char and maus.
